Brennstoff ist eine Marke für Naturkohle aus Kokosnussschalen. Die Würfel werden in Indonesien hergestellt, kommen ohne Schnellzünder-Zusätze aus und glühen auf dem elektrischen Anzünder oder über dem Gasbrenner durch.

Die Kohle ist in Würfel mit 26 mm Kantenlänge gepresst, im Handel kurz „26er“ genannt. Zum Kennenlernen gibt es das 8er Probierpack mit 120 g. Weil die Würfel aus reiner Kokosnussschalen-Kohle bestehen, entzünden sie sich nicht am Feuerzeug: Du legst sie auf einen elektrischen Kohleanzünder oder hältst sie mit einem Kohlekorb über den Gasbrenner. Nach höchstens 10 Minuten glühen sie durch.
