The D.A.SH Dizzy Mini is the compact version of the Dizzy: a plug-in glass base in a tapering cone shape with an embossed cut pattern. It is about 21 cm tall, up to 14.5 cm wide and weighs about 1.15 kg. It is made in Spain.
Pointed cone shape in small
The Mini tapers to a slightly sharper point at the top than the large Dizzy. The embossed pattern creates a play of light and shadow. You get the Dizzy Mini in clear and in black. Thanks to its height it suits smaller hookahs; on large hookahs it would look too small.
Regular glass, mouth-blown or pressed
The base is made of regular glass and is lighter than a crystal base. Depending on the batch it is mouth-blown or pressed. Fine seams and small air inclusions occur with this production method and are not a defect. The neck opening measures 4.5 cm inside and 7 cm outside.
Plug-in base with silicone seal
The Dizzy Mini has no screw thread. The stem is pushed into the neck with a silicone seal, so it only fits hookahs with a plug-in system. Measure your downstem with diffuser; it must not touch the glass bottom.
How to use the Dizzy Mini
- Insert the downstem with diffuser into the base as a test; it must not touch the bottom.
- Fill in water until the downstem sits about 2 to 3 cm deep in the water.
- Push the stem with the seal firmly into the neck of the base.
- Stand the hookah upright, then connect the hose and start smoking.
Care
Rinse the base by hand with lukewarm water after the session, with mild washing-up liquid if needed. Not in the dishwasher. Avoid boiling water, because glass does not tolerate thermal shock.
