The Smoke2U Fork bowl packing tool set is made of copper and contains a tobacco fork and a foil poker. It comes with a leather pouch in which you can store and carry both together.
Copper has a warm tone between red and brown and darkens slightly over time. You can find more tools for packing the bowl under bowl packing accessories.
Fork and poker for packing the bowl
With the fork you loosen and spread the tobacco in the bowl without touching it with your fingers. With the poker you pierce the holes in the aluminium foil. The two tools are separate, so you pick up the right one for each step.
Copper and dimensions
Fork and poker are made of copper. According to the item details, the length is around 6.5 cm, and the tool is around 1.6 cm wide at the fork.
For phunnel, clay and stone bowls
The fork is suitable for filling bowls that you smoke with aluminium foil. Fill the tobacco in loosely and do not press it down, so the air later draws through evenly. With a phunnel, leave the centre of the foil unpierced; the poker only pierces above the tobacco.
How to use the bowl packing tool set
- Put the tobacco loosely into the bowl with the fork and spread it evenly.
- Pull the aluminium foil tight over the rim.
- Pierce holes evenly into the foil with the poker. They should not be too small, otherwise the bowl gets very hot.
- Place the coals, heat up and control the heat through the number and position of the coals.
Care
Wipe off tobacco residue after the session before it dries on. This keeps fork and poker clean, and the tip is clear for the next time you pack a bowl.
