Hookain Shroom Phunnel
The Hookain Shroom is clearly designed within the Hookain Phunnel Series for a deliberate, rather economical setup. The range includes the classic Shroom Phunnel and the Shroom V2 Low Capacity Phunnel. The direction is the same for both: pack in a controlled way, keep an eye on the fill amount and match the reservoir cleanly to your tobacco.

Shroom for controlled phunnel setups
The classic Shroom has a narrow, deep reservoir. This design is interesting if you do not simply want to pack as full as possible but work specifically with a gap or contact. The head therefore suits people who fine-tune their setup rather than just going for volume.
Hookain tip: If you specifically want to pack more compactly within the Shroom range, look at the V2 Low Capacity variants. Depending on the build, their reservoir holds only 8 to 12 g.
How the Shroom behaves when packing
A deep phunnel usually demands a little more precision when packing than very shallow heads. Fill height, distance to the attachment and the distribution in the reservoir make a noticeable difference here. That is exactly why the Shroom is exciting above all if you like packing cleanly and want to keep your setup repeatable.
The Shroom is also made by hand. For you that mainly means: better to test once in peace which fill height runs best with your tobacco and your attachment, rather than packing blindly to a single number.
On the attachment, the two differ: all common HMDs fit the classic Shroom. With the V2 Low Capacity that does not hold for every version. For it we recommend a standard chimney attachment or aluminium foil. Whether your HMD fits is stated with each item.

There are concrete guide values for the classic Shroom. They are a sensible starting point but not a rigid rule. Depending on moisture, cut, packing style and distance to the HMD, the right amount for you may be a little above or below.

It makes most sense to start with a moderate pack and approach your desired setup in small steps. With a head with a deeper reservoir in particular, clean readjusting often gets you more than packing too high or too dense straight away.

The Shroom suits you if you are looking for a Hookain phunnel designed for controlled, rather tobacco-saving sessions. It is especially interesting if deeper reservoirs suit you and you like working deliberately between gap, contact or nub contact.
The range includes various versions such as Black Mix Clay, Flow, Night Blue, White Mix Clay or, for the V2, also White and Milky.
