The Moze base grommet Black is a black grommet for connecting a push-fit base. The inner diameter is approx. 38 mm.
What the base grommet is for
With a push-fit base, the smoke column is not screwed on but inserted into the base. The base grommet makes this connection airtight. If it is worn or does not fit, the hookah draws in air and hisses when you pull on the hose.

Push-fit bases have openings of different sizes depending on the hookah. Measure the opening of your base before ordering. Check which grommet your hookah needs before you choose.
How to fit the base grommet
- Take the smoke column off the base and remove the old grommet.
- Wipe the contact surface clean.
- Fit the new base grommet. When reassembling, make sure it stays in place, as it tends to slip.
- Place the smoke column on without force. Too much pressure can damage the material.
- Pull briefly on the hose. If it hisses, the grommet is not seated properly.
Replacement and care
Replace the grommet when it is no longer elastic, shows cracks or smells of tobacco or water flavouring. Clear water is enough for cleaning.
