Blyat Phunnel – marbled bowl
The Blyat is a Hookain phunnel with a marbled look. It is made of white and black stoneware clay, which together create the distinctive marbling. That is why one Blyat never looks exactly like the next.

Blyat brings the typical marbling
The head is also fired at 1250 °C and made by hand in Spain.
Hookain tip: With marbled heads it pays to look closely at the individual version, because the pattern can differ visibly. The capacity is also given per version on the head.
Phunnel design: the molasses stays in the reservoir
On a phunnel the hole sits raised in the middle. You spread the tobacco loosely around it, and the molasses stays in the head instead of running into the stem.
Sturdy for longer sessions
Firing at 1250 °C makes the Blyat heat resistant, and the head is built for longer sessions. Depending on the version, the capacity is roughly between 11 and 18 g.
Which sessions the Blyat is made for
The Blyat is versatile: it works with dark leaf, Virginia and pipe tobacco. If you do not want a separate head for every style, that is handy.
How well the head performs in everyday use still depends on your setup, though. Packing density, heat and attachment all play a part. Keep the centre hole free and pack to just below the rim.
