The Hookain Shisha Set Schland is a complete set built around the Amotion Flashbang. It comes with the Hookain LiT LiP Bowl in the Schland 2.0 model, a Fineline aluminium mouthpiece in red and a Laziza silicone hose in matte black. The Flashbang is a hookah with a closed chamber system and blow-off, and it is around 40 cm tall.
Design and blow-off
The Amotion Flashbang consists of more than 30 individual parts and is assembled via a push-fit system. It has one hose connection, a multi-part downstem with diffuser and a clear glass base with a silicone grommet. Thanks to the closed chamber system, the base stays closed, and with the blow-off you blow out stale smoke without pulling off the hose. A molasses catcher is not built in.
Material and workmanship
The smoke column and metal parts are made of stainless steel, plus plastic parts and the glass of the base. The charcoal plate has a diameter of around 16 cm. The mouthpiece is made of aluminium, the hose of silicone.
The Hookain LiT LiP Bowl Schland 2.0
The bowl of the set is the Hookain LiT LiP Bowl in the Schland 2.0 model. It is made of glazed stoneware and distributes the heat evenly. The colours are black, red and yellow.
How to set up the set
- Fill the base with water so that the downstem stands about 2 cm in the water.
- Plug the smoke column into the base and make sure it sits firmly.
- Insert the hose at the hose connection and put the mouthpiece on.
- Put the tobacco loosely into the bowl, put the bowl on, cover it with foil or an HMD and place the charcoal on top.
- Take your time getting it started and regulate the heat via the charcoal.
Care and cleaning
Rinse the smoke column, downstem and base through with warm water after the session. You only take the bowl off once it has cooled down, and rinse it out with lukewarm water. Hot stoneware cannot take a cold shock.
