The Hookain Poster I Am The Night is almost entirely black: a matt black Phunnel stands in a cone of light, with the sentence “I Am The Night.” below it. Format: 297 × 420 mm (DIN A3).
The design: black on black
At the top the Hookain logo, in the middle the dark bowl with a ribbed sleeve, at the bottom the lettering in grey and a small text about stoneware clay and manufacture in a workshop in Seville. The poster lives from the contrast between light and shadow. This is exactly where the glossy varnish pays off: the black looks deep instead of grey.
If you want the bowl in real life, take a look at the Hookain Phunnels; more wall designs are under Poster.
What you get
One sheet in the format 297 × 420 mm (DIN A3), printed in four colours on one side only. The paper weighs 135 g per square metre, and the printed side is coated with UV varnish, which makes it look rich and slightly glossy. The poster is intended for indoor use, not for outdoors.
Frequently asked questions
Does the poster suit a dark wall?
Rather a light or grey one. On a dark wall the black edge blurs; with a white mat, the design comes across best.
How do I attach it without a frame?
With poster strips, clamp rails or magnetic rails. Adhesive tape directly on the varnish can leave marks when peeled off.
