Hookain POT 5 Hole multi-hole bowl
The Hookain POT is the multi-hole version of the POPO: a 5-hole multi-hole head made of stoneware, fired at 1250 °C. The reservoir takes 10 to 13 g depending on how you pack. The lip is roughened, and common HMDs close cleanly against the outer edge.

Hookain POT for classic multi-hole setups
On a multi-hole head the air is drawn through the holes in the base straight through the tobacco. So you notice directly in the draw how loosely you have packed and whether the holes stay free.
Hookain tip: Fill the tobacco in loosely, stay just below the rim and keep the five holes free. Only then does the HMD go on the roughened lip.
What counts in packing the POT
Free holes and evenly distributed tobacco matter. If it is packed too tightly the holes clog and the draw suffers. Whether you prefer foil or use an HMD, what counts is that the head is packed properly and the heat suits the way you pack.
The stoneware fired at 1250 °C is very dense, and the head is correspondingly heavy. Because the pores are closed, the lip does not get dirty if molasses lands on it. Unlike with a phunnel, on a multi-hole head some molasses can run through the holes into the stem.
Who the Hookain POT makes sense for
The POT suits you if you smoke multi-hole heads or want a 5-hole head next to your phunnels. A multi-hole head can run differently with the same tobacco than a phunnel, so do not carry over distance and heat blindly. Start a little calmer and add more once the head has got going.

How to choose your POT version
The POT versions differ in colour and design. Names such as Velvet, Toxic or Desert do not change the basic shape of the POT. So you mainly pick the look.
