The 27 mm property gives the assigned piece size. Carton size and quantity are separate details and do not tell you how much room a cube takes.

The figure 27 mm describes the piece size of the charcoal, for cubes usually the edge length. It belongs to the single piece, not to the pack: a carton of 1, 4 or 20 kg can contain the same cube size.
- Names: 27er Original, C27 and 27+ point to different lines.
- Packaging: packs of 1, 4 and 20 kg are represented.
- Manufacturers: Venookah, Cocobration, Black Cocos, Zauberwürfel and Aladin, among others.
Larger cubes usually sit differently in an attachment or charcoal basket than smaller ones. If your accessory does not suit 27 mm, take a look at the neighbouring sizes.
Also compare shape and burning behaviour, which are not contained in the size but in the item description. This helps especially when you check several brands side by side.
