Accessories with screw connections
A threaded connection needs the matching counterpart. Compare model series and connection; a similar shape or colour is not enough for replacement parts.

A threaded system screws two parts against each other. The connection therefore sits firmly and can be undone again when needed.
- Thread type: pitch and diameter must match the counterpart; threads are not freely interchangeable with one another.
- Tightening: hand-tight is usually enough, too much force can damage the thread or the sealing surface.
- Selection: the page lists only a few items, so the comparison is quickly done.
Before you replace a part, look closely at the thread you have. Only the explicitly named model series ensures a clean fit; parts that look similar from other series often do not close tightly. With glass counterparts, take particular care when tightening.
Threads react sensitively to dirt: residue in the turns makes tightening harder and can impair the seal. Cleaning before assembly is therefore worthwhile.
