Steel is not necessarily the only material in an accessory. A catcher, for example, can combine metal parts made of different materials. For the D-Catcher Pro, the manufacturer describes a build of steel and aluminium. Classifying it under steel must therefore not be read as a promise of an item made entirely from it.
When choosing, first settle the function in the setup. If a molasses catcher is to be added, the connection and model version are checked. After that, look at the opening of the container and the seals supplied. Surface colour and material are separate features; a black coating proves no particular alloy. For care and dismantling, the instructions of the respective accessory apply. This page bundles the material link without claiming a universal fit or blanket properties of all steel parts.
