The N!CE Phunnel is a solid Phunnel bowl made of glazed stoneware from Spain with a very flat reservoir. It holds around 6 g of Virginia tobacco or 10 g of Dark Leaf and is built for standard HMDs.
Very flat reservoir, little tobacco
The reservoir of the N!CE Phunnel is much flatter than on usual bowls. You therefore get by with little tobacco. Because the tobacco lies close under the HMD, a calm start and rather careful heat are worthwhile.
Phunnel: one hole in the middle, tobacco in a ring
In the middle sits a raised chimney with a single hole, and the tobacco lies around it in the reservoir. This keeps the molasses in the bowl so it does not run into the smoke column, and the HMD passes the heat onto the tobacco from above.
Built for standard HMDs
The rim has the standard size, common HMDs sit on it and close flush. You control the heat via the ventilation of the HMD.
Solid stoneware from Spain
The N!CE Phunnel is made in Spain from stoneware, with a solid body. The models are named after ice cream flavours: in the reservoir the glaze shows the colour of the model, while the outside of the bowl is kept caramel or chocolate brown depending on the model. A silicone bowl grommet is intended for sealing on the hookah.
How to pack the N!CE Phunnel
- Briefly mix the tobacco in the tin so the molasses is evenly distributed.
- Sprinkle tobacco loosely into the flat reservoir around the chimney and do not press it down. The middle hole stays free.
- Fill only to just below the rim so the HMD does not touch the tobacco.
- Place the HMD, put on the coals and start smoking for a few minutes.
- Control the heat via the ventilation of the HMD. If the smoke gets harsh, open the ventilation further or remove a coal.
Chocolate Blueberry is kept brown on the outside like chocolate, while inside the glaze shows white with purple and violet like blueberries. You will find more bowls of the brand at N!CE hookah bowls.

How much tobacco fits in the N!CE Phunnel?

Does my HMD fit on the bowl?
Yes, the rim has the standard size. Common HMDs sit on it and close flush.
Can I also smoke the bowl with aluminium foil?
It is designed for HMD. It also works with foil, but because of the flat reservoir the foil sits very close to the tobacco. Pull it tight and work with little charcoal.
Do the models differ?
In colour and glaze. Shape, reservoir and rim are the same on all models. Because the glaze flows slightly differently on every bowl, each piece is unique.
How do I clean the bowl?
Only once the bowl on the hookah has cooled down completely, rinse it with lukewarm water. Hot ceramic cannot take a cold shock, otherwise the glaze can crack.
