Petit Popo Phunnel
The Petit Popo is the scaled-down version of the Hookain POPO: a hand-made phunnel tuned for use with an HMD. The reservoir takes about 13-16 g of tobacco, or 11-13 g with the BBL Mini. You will find the exact value on each head.

Petit Popo for HMD setups
Compared with the POPO the reservoir is smaller, so you get by with less tobacco. The raised hole in the middle keeps the molasses in the head.
Hookain tip: If the draw fades, lift the HMD briefly, turn it a little and put it back on.
What matters with the Petit Popo
- Phunnel: raised hole in the middle, with the tobacco sitting in a ring around it.
- About 13 to 16 g reservoir: 11-13 g with the BBL Mini.
- HMD: the head is built for use with an HMD.
- Handmade: every head is made by hand; shape and colour can differ slightly from the photo.
- Glazes: for example Zauron, Off White or Cool Water.
How to pack the Petit Popo
Spread the tobacco loosely and evenly around the centre hole and pack to just below the rim; the hole stays free. Then put the HMD on and start with a few fully lit coals for a controlled first draw. Always light natural charcoal through with a suitable charcoal burner, never with a lighter.
When the Petit Popo is a good fit
