Da Vinci hookah bowls
In this category you will find Da Vinci phunnel heads made of glazed clay blend. The single-hole design with a raised centre hole is especially practical when you pack tobacco rich in molasses, because the molasses tends to stay in the reservoir instead of running into the stem. That usually makes the setup cleaner and easy to control.

Da Vinci heads for clear phunnel setups
Every head is made by hand; the phunnel comes in several colours such as yellow, green or white-black. You smoke it with an HMD or with aluminium foil.
What to look for with Da Vinci
- Phunnel design: especially practical with tobacco that has a lot of molasses, because it stays in the head.
- Glaze: protects the head from quick wear, makes cleaning easier and slows bleeding.
- Rim and seating: important for a clean fit of an HMD or tightly stretched aluminium foil.
- Dimensions: about 11.7 cm tall, around 6.6 cm inner diameter, reservoir about 1.4 cm deep.
Care and a clean fit
Hookain tip: Let the head cool down after the session before you clean it. Sharp temperature changes are not a good idea for hookah heads.

How to pack the phunnel for everyday use
With an HMD, pack the tobacco loosely into the reservoir and leave a little space at the top so the attachment does not sit directly on it. This makes the heat easier to control and lets you adapt the head to the tobacco and how it smokes.
If you prefer to pack with aluminium foil, stretch it tight so it does not sag while you draw. On a phunnel, make sure the raised centre hole stays free under the foil and no tobacco lies on it, so the draw is not disturbed. Which fill height works best depends on your tobacco and your setup.
Who Da Vinci is interesting for
