The Aladin MVP460 is a medium-sized stainless steel hookah from the MVP Series by Aladin. It is about 46 cm tall without bowl and made of V2A stainless steel. The hookah comes with bowl set, hose set and coal tongs. It is available as M1 in Shiny Black and in Silver-Black.
Size and use
At 46 cm the MVP460 sits between the small and the large models of the range. It is not too big for the table at home and is still easy to take along.
Closed Chamber System and diffuser
The base contains a Closed Chamber System that lets you blow stale smoke out of the glass base. An adjustable diffuser works on the downstem and dampens the bubbling. The draw is light, the valve ball measures 10 mm.
Ground joint ports and expansion
The bowl adapter and the hose port have an 18/8 ground joint. The parts are plugged in and need no seals. A molasses catcher fits on the bowl adapter. One hose port is built in; a second hose can be added.
Material and finish
The stem is made of rustproof V2A stainless steel. This makes it robust and easy to care for. The colour is Shiny Black or Silver-Black.
How to set up the MVP460
- Fill in water until the downstem sits about 2 cm deep in the water.
- Mount the stem with downstem and diffuser onto the glass.
- Attach the hose to the hose port.
- Pack the bowl, put on the chimney attachment and place the coal.
- Start smoking and adjust the draw via the diffuser if needed.
Care and cleaning
Rinse the stem and downstem with warm water after the session. Wash the clay bowl only once it is cold, otherwise it can crack.
