Twister Phunnel XXL – 20–22 g bowl
The Twister is the phunnel version of the Hookain Twister Bowl, in Black and White. The raised hole in the middle keeps the molasses in the head. The reservoir takes 20-22 g in the Black; in the White about 15 g of Virginia packed loosely or 20 g of dark leaf packed more densely.

You will also find the Vintage Splash Bowl here as a phunnel: dark clay, each head individually marbled and lacquered four times, reservoir 15-20 g.
Hookain tip: Pack the tobacco loosely around the centre hole and do not press it down. That keeps the draw open and lets the heat reach the reservoir evenly.
What matters with the Twister
Twister Black and White are made from a blend of two clays that lets the heat pass through well. How much actually fits in the reservoir depends on the type of tobacco, its moisture and the packing height, so the gram figures are guide values.

Matching the setup to the head
You can use the Twister with an HMD. Fill the tobacco in evenly and avoid pressing the reservoir too firmly. Pack to just below the rim so that some distance to the HMD remains.
Important with natural charcoal: always pre-light it safely and never light it with a lighter.
Who the Twister makes sense for
The Twister fits if you want a phunnel made from a clay blend where you set the fill amount according to your tobacco: loosely packed Virginia takes less than densely packed dark leaf. If the choice is hard, our Head Finder narrows it down for you.
