Silicone is an elastic material that conducts heat poorly. An item being listed here only means that silicone is recorded as a material.
Two groups
- Mats: black pads on which a bowl is set down or prepared, including a flat version.
- Bowls with a silicone part: several multi-hole bowls from Darkside's D range and one phunnel (D-Phunnel). Where exactly the silicone sits is stated in the description of the individual model.
There are also sets from ShishaX in which silicone makes up only part of the contents. How much heat a silicone part tolerates is set by the manufacturer and cannot be derived from the value.
