The AO silicone bowl packing mat is a flat surface for packing your bowl. It is made of a PVC-silicone blend, measures about 30 × 19.5 cm and keeps tobacco residue and molasses off the tabletop.
Pack cleanly instead of wiping
Something always falls aside when you pack a bowl: tobacco bits, molasses, foil scraps. On the mat it stays on a surface you wipe afterwards, not on the table. There is enough room for the bowl, the tobacco tin and bowl-packing accessories such as fork, foil poker and foil.
Material and grip
The PVC-silicone blend is soft and wipes clean. The underside has an anti-slip coating so the mat does not wander across the table while you work. No heat resistance is stated for this mat, so glowing charcoal does not belong on it.
Zebra Yellow and White
The variants differ in colour and pattern; the dimensions are the same. You can choose between Zebra Yellow and White.
How to use the bowl packing mat
- Place the mat on a dry, level table.
- Have the bowl, tobacco tin and accessories ready.
- Sprinkle the tobacco loosely into the bowl and fluff it with the fork, do not press it down.
- Stretch the foil and poke holes, or fit the cover. Whatever falls aside ends up on the mat.
- Tap the residue into the bin and wipe the mat clean.
Care
Wipe the mat with a damp cloth or rinse it under warm water. Let it dry afterwards before you lay it out again.
