With the click system a part snaps in with a noticeable click. The connection is tied to the respective system and therefore not readily interchangeable with other series.
What to check
- Model series: the snap fit works only together with the matching socket.
- Replacement part: look at the system name, not just at shape and colour.
- Scope of delivery: some items include the seal, others do not.
How the connection is released again depends on the system and is described in the manufacturer's instructions. Since the selection is manageable, a model is quickly checked against what you own.
Because the latching works mechanically, both parts should be undamaged. A broken catch or a deformed socket prevents a secure fit, even if the replacement belongs to the system.
