Choosing hookahs with a resin finish
Epoxy resin can form the visible shell of a stem. Alongside it, compare the inner construction, the bowl connection and what is in the delivery.

Epoxy resin is a synthetic resin that is firm and keeps its shape once cured. On hookahs it is often used as a cast surface, frequently coloured or see-through, and is therefore also called “resin”. The entry means that the material is stated for the model.
What matters besides the resin
- Inner construction: A layer of resin says nothing about the material beneath it.
- Connection: Check how the bowl and the stem are joined.
- Delivery: Hose, head and further accessories differ from one listing to the next.
The design looks very different from model to model. Care instructions for resin parts are given by the maker of the respective model.
Because resin can be cast in many colours and patterns, two models with the same entry often look completely different. The product image shows where the resin sits and how much of the stem it covers.
