Comparing hookahs with POM components
POM can form individual components of a hookah. For the choice, construction, connections and the actual contents remain decisive.

POM is short for polyoxymethylene, an engineering plastic with a smooth, hard surface. On hookahs it often appears beside stainless steel and sometimes beside epoxy resin or acrylic.
Placing the entry
- It is a material entry on the model; which component is made of POM only the description shows.
- Acrylic and epoxy resin are values of their own that partly cover the same models.
- The collective value plastic does not always include POM as well.
POM absorbs hardly any moisture and is regarded as dimensionally stable. For the choice, though, the plastic itself matters less than construction, bowl connection and contents.
If you are after a specific build, combine this selection with other filters such as height or material and then read the model description.
