Werkbund · Werkbund Fork Gestalt Octo
€19.90*
The Werkbund Fork Gestalt Octo is a bowl-packing fork made of steel, forged in Russia. You use it to loosen and spread the tobacco in the bowl without touching it with your fingers. It is about 20 cm long.
Hand-forged in Russia
Werkbund makes its accessories in the "Werkbund Handcraft Hookah Manufacture" in Russia. They are made of steel and forged by hand, with a forging hammer and anvil, without CNC machines and without lasers.
A fork for packing the bowl
With a bowl-packing fork you fill the tobacco loosely into the bowl, loosen it and spread it evenly. You then poke the holes into the foil with a piercer.
For bowls with foil
You use the fork with phunnel, clay and stone bowls. Fill the tobacco loosely and do not press it down so that the air flows through evenly. With a phunnel the centre around the chimney stays free, and the tobacco lies in a ring around it.
How to use the fork
- Put the tobacco loosely into the reservoir, around the chimney with a phunnel.
- Use the fork to break up clumps and spread the tobacco evenly without pressing it down.
- Only fill the tobacco far enough that some distance remains to the foil.
- Stretch the foil, pierce it with a piercer, place the charcoal and start smoking calmly.
Care
Wipe off tobacco residue after packing the bowl before it dries on. This keeps the prongs free.
