The Cosmo Bowl Mixology is a flat clay Phunnel head with four chambers in the bowl, handmade in Russia. Each chamber takes its own flavour, and together it holds around 13 to 18 g of tobacco.
Four chambers instead of one ring
In the bowl, four dividers split the ring around the chimney into four equally sized chambers. This lets you place up to four flavours side by side without mixing them in the bowl beforehand. Each flavour stays in its chamber. You can also fill a single flavour into all chambers.
Phunnel: one hole in the middle
In the middle sits a raised chimney with a single hole, and the tobacco lies in the chambers around it. This way no molasses runs into the smoke column; it stays in the head. The base is made thicker so that the flat head does not overheat as quickly.
HMD or aluminium foil
The rim has the standard size, so common HMDs and smokeboxes sit on it cleanly. Aluminium foil works as well. Because the bowl is shallow, moderate heat is enough.
Handmade clay
Cosmo Bowl shapes every Mixology by hand from clay in Russia. The models differ only in colour. To seal it on the hookah you need a suitable head gasket.
How to pack the Cosmo Bowl Mixology
- Briefly mix each flavour in its tin so the molasses is evenly distributed.
- Sprinkle one flavour loosely into each chamber and do not press it down. The middle hole stays free.
- Fill all chambers to the same height, just below the rim, so the heat arrives evenly everywhere.
- Put the HMD on or stretch aluminium foil tight, poke many small holes only over the tobacco and re-tighten.
- Start with little charcoal and raise the heat slowly. Add more if needed.

Around 13 to 18 g for all four chambers together. The exact amount depends on the cut, the moisture and how loosely you pack.

No. You can spread two, three or four flavours, or fill all chambers with the same flavour.
Does my HMD fit on the Mixology?
Yes, the rim has the standard size. Common HMDs and smokeboxes sit on it, and aluminium foil works as well.
Do the models differ?
Only in colour. Shape, chambers and rim are the same on all models.
How do I clean the head?
Only once the head has cooled down completely, rinse it with lukewarm water and clear the middle hole. Hot clay does not tolerate a cold shock.
