What is in the set
A grow tent is a lightproof tent in which plants grow independently of daylight. The Vivosun tent measures 80 × 80 × 160 cm and has room for up to two plants. Inside it is lined with Mylar, a silver foil that reflects the light back onto the leaves. Added to this are the LED lamp A150SE, the inline fan AeroZesh G4 with exhaust duct, an activated carbon filter, the GrowHub controller and small parts such as a fabric pot, trellis net, rope hangers and pruning shears.

Light, air and control
The LED works with full spectrum, meaning all the colour components plants use for photosynthesis, and can be dimmed in steps. In the centre of the lamp sits a circulation fan that moves the air from above through the foliage. The AeroZesh G4 handles the exhaust: it carries warm, humid air out of the tent through the duct and through the activated carbon filter, whose carbon binds odours. The GrowHub measures temperature and humidity and controls lamp, circulation and exhaust by schedule or by reading.
Footprint and setup
Plan for more space than the 80 × 80 cm footprint: the door opens to the front and the exhaust duct leaves the tent at the side. For setup you first put the frame together and pull the cover over it. Lamp and fan hang from rope hangers under the roof, and their cables run to the controller.
Frequently asked questions about Vivosun
What else do I need besides the set?
Substrate, fertiliser and a socket within reach. Tent, lamp, exhaust, filter, controller and a fabric pot are included.
How much power does the lamp use?
At full output 150 W. If it runs twelve hours a day, that is 1.8 kWh, correspondingly less when dimmed. The exhaust fan comes on top.
How loud is the grow tent?
What you mainly hear is the exhaust fan, most clearly at the highest level. The controller turns it down as soon as temperature and humidity are right.
Does the control also work without the app?
Yes. You make the basic settings on the GrowHub display. The app adds remote access and extended schedules and needs a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.
