AO KOKA Clean Powder is a cleaning powder with active oxygen for glass bowls and hookah parts. You dissolve it in lukewarm water, put the parts in and, after soaking, just rinse them off.
Soaking instead of scrubbing
The powder works with an oxygen-based bleach, plus phosphates and a small share of anionic surfactants according to the label. In the solution, deposits of molasses, limescale and smoke residue dissolve without long brushing. For hard crusts in the bowl, follow up with a bowl brush from our cleaning brushes.
Dosage and soaking time
- Light soiling: about 4 g per 1 litre of lukewarm water
- Medium to heavy soiling: 8 to 12 g per 1 litre of lukewarm water
- Soaking time: 30 to 90 minutes, depending on the deposit
Afterwards, rinse all parts thoroughly with clear water until nothing foams any more.
Which materials it is for
KOKA Clean Powder is intended for glass, mainly the bowl, and for parts made of stainless steel. The solution can attack anodised aluminium and other coated or painted surfaces, so do not use it there. If you are unsure about the material, test the solution on an inconspicuous spot first.

Frequently asked questions
Can I pour the solution into a hot bowl?
No. Let the bowl cool down first and use lukewarm water. Glass does not tolerate sharp temperature changes well.
What should I note when mixing it?
According to the label, the powder irritates the skin and can cause serious eye damage. Wear gloves when mixing, avoid splashes and keep the tin away from children. The instructions on the label apply.
How long does the tin last?
That depends on the soiling. At 4 g for a light clean, 150 g lasts for many rounds; with heavy deposits at 12 g, correspondingly fewer.
