The AO hose grommet is a stretchy silicone ring for the hose connection of your hookah. You get 5 pieces in a bag.
What the hose grommet is for
It sits between the hose and the hose port and seals this connection. The hose connection is one of the seals under the most strain. Over time the grommet stretches out or cracks, and then the hose slips or air leaks in.

- Lower end: Ø inside 12 mm, Ø outside 18 mm

Silicone is soft and the grommet stretches a lot. Still, check the diameter of your hose port before you order.
How to fit the hose grommet
- Pull off the hose and remove the old grommet from the hose port.
- Wipe the hose port dry inside and out.
- Push the new grommet into the hose port first, until it goes no further.
- Only then push the hose in. This way the grommet clamps in place and does not slip out.
Replacement and care
Replace the grommet when it is no longer elastic, shows cracks or wobbles loosely in the hose port. Clear water is enough for rinsing.
