Arcturus Phunnel for long sessions
The Arcturus is a Hookain phunnel from the Phunnel Series. Its shallow reservoir holds 8 to 10 g depending on the tobacco and how you pack. A lip built into the reservoir makes sure your HMD sits securely.

Arcturus with an HMD lip in the reservoir
The Arcturus comes in several versions, such as Black Glaze, White Glaze or Full Glaze. What they all share is the raised centre hole that keeps the molasses in the reservoir.
Hookain tip: Loosely packed Virginia tobacco fills the reservoir at around 8 g, more densely packed dark leaf at around 10 g. Weigh it on your first pack, and you will find the fill height more easily.
How the Arcturus works in your setup
The Arcturus is built for packing with an HMD and is compatible with all common HMDs. The lip in the reservoir holds the attachment in position, so you can calmly adjust the heat over the course of the session.
Pack cleanly instead of packing full
A clean pack matters more than maximum fill amount. Spread the tobacco loosely in the reservoir and keep the centre hole free so the draw stays open. Depending on the tobacco, you can pack a little lower or closer to the HMD. That way the head responds predictably and is easier to control during the session.

Who the Arcturus really suits

Hookain tip: Let the head cool down completely after the session before you clean it. Ceramic expands every time it is heated and contracts again as it cools.
