The Aladin Alux M8 is a 58 cm high hookah (without bowl) by the brand Aladin. The stem is made of aluminium, the base is made of glass, large and decorated. It is available in black and silver.
Construction & stem
You assemble the M8 via a click closure. The bottom part has a closed chamber system with which you blow stale smoke out of the base. On the downstem sits an adjustable, removable diffuser that influences noise and draw resistance. The valve ball measures 10 mm.
Hose connections for the group
Four hose connections with 18/8 joints and matching adapters are fitted. The joints on the bowl and hose adapters make the M8 compatible with accessories such as a molasses catcher. The large base offers plenty of volume for longer sessions.
Chimney bowl set
The chimney bowl set includes a clay bowl and a Mockingbird attachment. The attachment distributes the heat of the charcoal over the tobacco. With the charcoal tongs you place and add charcoal safely.

The Alux M8 is available in black and silver. Features and dimensions are the same.
How to set up the M8
- Fill in water until the downstem stands about 2 cm in the water.
- Place the stem on and click it in.
- Plug the hose adapters onto the 18/8 joints and connect the hose.
- Fill the clay bowl, place the Mockingbird attachment on and set the charcoal.
- Start smoking and adjust the heat.
Care and cleaning
After the session rinse stem, base and hose with warm water. A stem brush helps with the long stem. Let the clay bowl cool down completely before cleaning. Brushes for the stem and the base can be found among the hookah cleaning accessories.
