Hookahs with a click system on the glass
A click system locks the bowl by means of the matching closure. It is to be told apart from an ordinary screw thread and from a plain push-fit connection.

A click system works with a closure that lets the bowl snap into the connector. It is meant to give a firm connection without turning. It differs from the thread, where parts are screwed together, and from the plain push-fit, where the seal does the holding.
Three things about the click system
- The closure is specific to the maker. Not every bowl fits every latch.
- For accessories, check whether the maker names the bowl explicitly for your model.
- Your setup includes a look at the stem and the seal.
The assignment on this page describes the type of connection, not its quality.
With a latch connection it also matters whether it can be released without tools. The maker describes this on the model; the assignment to the click system does not say.
