The Aladin Epox 580 is a large shisha of the Epox series from Aladin. It has a polished stainless steel stem with an epoxy resin sleeve and a plug-in system. At about 58 cm without the Badcha top piece, it is sturdily built. It comes as a complete set with ceramic head and accessories in White-Silver and in Black.
Design and seal
Body and base are plugged together. A seal between the two ensures the right connection and a firm seat of the stem.
Cut hose system
The silicone hose is attached to the Cut connection; you do not need an additional silicone sealing ring. A hose spring keeps the hose kink-free.
Draw and diffuser
An adjustable diffuser sits on the downstem. With it you regulate the draw resistance and the noise.
Blow-off effects
The stainless steel ring set, the epoxy resin sleeve and two charcoal plates of different sizes result in more than 15 blow-off effects. The two plates also make different setups possible.
Material and workmanship
The body is made of polished stainless steel, the sleeve of epoxy resin. Stainless steel and epoxy resin make the shisha sturdy.
How to set up the Epox 580
- Fill water into the water container until the downstem sits about 2 cm in the water.
- Plug the body with seal onto the base and check the fit.
- Insert the downstem with diffuser and place rings and charcoal plates as you like.
- Attach the silicone hose to the Cut connection.
- Build the ceramic head, place the Badcha top piece and add the charcoal.
- Start smoking calmly.
Care and cleaning
Rinse body, base and downstem through with warm water after the session. The ceramic head must cool down first.
