The Mini Brodator from Aladin is a compact hookah with a stainless steel smoke column and a crystal glass base. It is about 32 cm tall, so it is easy to take along. It is available in the versions Reptile, Eagle, Dessert Fox and Skorpian, each also as a set.
Construction and smoke column
Base and column are connected by a click thread. The versions differ in the look of the column: the Eagle is slim and smooth, the Dessert Fox has several stacked ring bulges, the Skorpian is divided into segments and looks angular. You can find all models of the series at Brodator.
Closed Chamber and diffuser
With the Closed Chamber system you blow stale smoke out of the base. An adjustable diffuser sits in the downstem and can be unscrewed. It makes the bubbling quieter.
Ports
The base has four hose ports. The ground joint is 18/8, so the hookah accepts a molasses catcher, for example. For several hoses you need additional hoses.
Material and finish
The column and the ports are made of stainless steel, the base of solid crystal glass. The glass is thick and stands stable. In colour the Dessert Fox stays plain: column and charcoal plate in silver, the base transparent.
How to set up the Mini Brodator
- Fill the base with water until the downstem is about 2 cm under water.
- Insert the downstem with the diffuser and connect the column to the base with the click thread.
- Attach the hose to one of the ports.
- Pack the clay bowl, place the chimney and put on the charcoal.
- Let it start calmly.
Care and cleaning
After the session, rinse the base with warm, not hot, water. Rinse the column from the inside. Carefully dry the crystal glass.
