The Diamond Hookah The Cape 3.0 Glow is a complete hookah from the Diamond Hookah brand with a stem made of V2A stainless steel and a crystal glass base. The stem is 26 cm long, and the glass base holds 2.25 litres. The Glow version has a luminous look that comes into its own under light. The glass base and hose set accents in green; the Glow version is fluorescent.
Click system and Closed Chamber
You connect the stem and glass base quickly and securely via the click system. The base part works as a Closed Chamber System: you blow stale smoke out of the glass base via the hose before drawing again. The Cape 3.0 has no blow-off.
Draw & diffuser
The downstem carries a diffuser with ten holes. It spreads the draw over many small openings and takes the bubbling out of the glass base. Polyamide balls sit as valves in the hose ports.
Four hose ports, molasses catcher and bowl
The Cape 3.0 has four hose ports with 18/8 ground joint, so you can smoke together with several people. One silicone hose is included. The molasses catcher made of borosilicate glass is 14 cm long and 9 cm wide and sits on the 18/8 ground joint adapter. The chimney attachment sits on the clay bowl with five holes, and the bowl seal is made of silicone. A standard HMD also fits.
How to set up the Cape 3.0
- Fill the glass base with water until the downstem is about 2 cm under water.
- Insert the downstem with diffuser and put the stem on the glass base via the click system.
- Fit the ground joint adapter and molasses catcher on the stem.
- Fit the hose ports with sleeves, hose adapters and end pieces and attach the hose with mouthpiece.
- Put on the chimney attachment and clay bowl, place the coal tray, position the coals and take your time starting the session.
Care and cleaning
After the session, rinse the glass base and molasses catcher with lukewarm water and never shock the glass with heat. Brush through the stem with a stem brush if needed. Only rinse the clay bowl once it has cooled down.
