The KVZE Grid Sterling is a hookah by the brand KVZE made of stainless steel and POM with a glass base. It is around 55 cm high and 21 cm wide, and the stem measures about 51 cm. The Grid has one hose connection and a blow-off.
Construction and blow-off
The Grid is plugged together via a plug-in system; a silicone seal connects stem and glass base. With the blow-off you blow stale smoke out of the base without pulling off the hose.
Downstem and diffuser
Without the diffuser the downstem is around 17.2 cm long, with the diffuser around 19.2 cm. So the diffuser can be removed. The charcoal plate has a diameter of around 17 cm.
Material and workmanship
The Grid is made of stainless steel and POM, a plastic. The Sterling combines silver and black with logo details in white. The base is transparent and made of clear glass. The connection diameter between stem and base is around 3.8 cm; the glass base measures around 26 cm in height and around 21 cm in width. The hookah weighs about 2.4 kg.
Bowl and setup
You choose a bowl separately. How you set heat and draw depends on bowl, foil or HMD and charcoal.
How to set up the Grid
- Fill the glass base with water until the downstem stands about 2 cm in the water.
- Plug the stem with downstem into the base and make sure the silicone seal sits firmly.
- Plug the hose into the hose connection.
- Fill the bowl with tobacco, set it on and put the charcoal on.
- Start calmly.
Care and cleaning
Rinse stem and downstem through with warm water after the session. Empty the glass base and rinse it out. Avoid hot water on cold glass.
