The VYRO Penta is a compact plug-in hookah by the brand VYRO made of V2A stainless steel, carbon, epoxy resin and wood. It is around 39 cm high, has one hose connection and a plug-in base with 45 mm inner diameter. It is available as Blue Clear and as Red Cut Grey.
Construction & stem
The Penta is small and compact. The plug-in base is around 18 cm high. The stem consists of a stainless steel tube with a sleeve. The sleeve made of carbon, epoxy resin and wood is exchangeable and available in red, blue and white. Thanks to the mix of epoxy resin and wood, every hookah is unique. The wood is sealed and waterproof.
Draw, diffuser and blow-off
Smoke tube and downstem measure 12 mm inside, the hose end piece 11 mm. The draw is light. The diffuser can be screwed on both sides and is removable. It ensures quiet bubbling. The blow-off sits below the plate, the purge is hidden underneath. The smoke bounces off the charcoal plate and is directed downwards.
Charcoal plate and bowl adapter
The ground charcoal plate has a small raised edge so that the charcoal does not fall off. The raised centre protects the bowl seal. The bowl adapter has an M16x1 thread; bowls with 18/8 joint fit via a joint adapter. Charcoal plate and bottom part carry the VYRO engraving.
The versions
Blue Clear has a blue sleeve and a clear base. Red Cut Grey comes with a red sleeve and a base in Cut Grey. The water level is around 500 ml.
How to set up the Penta
- Fill around 500 ml of water into the plug-in base.
- Place the downstem with diffuser in the bottom part and plug the base on via the seal.
- Place the stem with sleeve on, attach the hose to the connection.
- Set the bowl on the bowl adapter and put the charcoal on.
- Start calmly; you can blow out smoke via the blow-off.
Care and cleaning
The Penta can be taken apart into all its individual parts. Rinse stem, bottom part and downstem through with warm water after the session. Rinse the plug-in base with warm, not hot, water.
