What makes the ACHO BRA - Saf-Tiger Garlic Grater from Hookain so special?

The GARLiC PLATE Saf-Tiger is made entirely of sturdy ceramic and features a porous grating surface, perfect for crushing garlic cloves. When grating, all the essential oils are released, resulting in a particularly intense garlic aroma. With its bright color mix of vibrant orange and deep black, the grater adds color to your kitchen. Each garlic grater is hand-painted, making each piece unique. It is manufactured in a family-run workshop in Spain, where emphasis is placed on sustainability and quality.

How to properly use the GARLiC PLATE?

The application is uncomplicated: peel a garlic clove and grate it with light pressure over the porous surface of the ACHO BRA. This activates the essential oils of the garlic, giving the dish an intense aroma. This method ensures a consistent result without the risk of cutting yourself on a traditional metal grater. The ceramic surface is durable, easy to clean, and does not absorb odors. This keeps your kitchen hygienic and tidy, even with frequent use.

Fair production and sustainable material - Quality from Spain

The Saf-Tiger garlic grater is made from carefully selected clay, shaped by hand, and fired at high temperatures. This gives it stability and a long lifespan. The glaze protects the surface and gives it a naturally glossy look. The production process follows high environmental standards, and by manufacturing in Spain, long transportation routes are avoided. With your purchase, you not only support the European craft sector but also a fair and sustainable production method. The combination of functionality, design, and ecology makes this product a valuable kitchen helper.

Why the ACHO BRA Garlic Grater should not be missing in any kitchen

Whether you are a beginner or a professional chef, the Garlic Grater ACHO BRA Saf-Tiger is an essential tool for those who value intense flavor and stylish kitchen accessories. It offers a simple, quick, and clean way to process garlic without the typical metallic taste of conventional graters. Additionally, with your purchase, you contribute to environmental protection. Brüstuck Steingut

Brüstuck Steingut is the ceramics line of Hookain GmbH from Cologne: handmade cups, bowls, plates and garlic graters from a family workshop in Spain. At Hookain Onlineshop you will find several shapes and glazes.

Handmade in Spain

Every piece is shaped, glazed and fired by hand. The clay body contains two kinds of grog, that is clay that has already been fired and ground. Firing at a high temperature makes the stoneware sturdier than plain clay and less translucent than porcelain. The glaze, the glass-like coating on the clay, is satin matt and reactive. It flows differently in the kiln depending on temperature, firing time and position. That is why every piece is one of a kind with its own shading.

For coffee and tea there is the ceramic cup Taza with motifs such as Blaze Mir Einen or Fog Your Life, and the cup Milky Twist in Mixed Clay, whose shape and colour gradient vary from piece to piece. The Breakfast Bowl Morning Glory in Egg Shell or Shark Skin is microwave-safe and ovenproof up to 220 °C. Then there are the Plate and Snack Plate in Washed Vintage Blue from the edition „Das Perfekte Dinner“, thrown on the potter’s wheel and glazed in brown and blue-grey. The Smile High ashtray is also part of the line.

Acho Bra garlic grater

The Acho Bra is a small ceramic plate with a rough grating surface. Peel the garlic clove and rub it in circles over the surface with a little pressure until a fine paste forms. Add it straight to the dressing or marinade. The colours have names such as Lagoon, Espresso, Toxic or Lava.

Can Brüstuck Steingut go in the dishwasher?

The Breakfast Bowl Morning Glory is dishwasher-safe, and the plates in Washed Vintage Blue have a dishwasher-safe glaze. For cups and garlic graters, the information is given on each item.
