Each MR. HANKY Phunnel is made on a potter's wheel and is an absolute unique piece. For this, we use a German Stoneware Clay, which we shape by hand in our manufactory near Seville. To create ceramic products of consistent quality by hand requires years of experience and a lot of finesse. Each MR. HANKY is crafted by the hands of a true ceramic master, and we are grateful for this wonderful and unique quality. The way of manufacturing has a direct impact on the performance of the material, as the characteristic features such as heat storage and distribution are further optimized. Air inclusions and breaks due to thermal stress are thus avoided, and you receive a better product. Furthermore, we use a German Stone Ware Clay from the Eifel region, which has the perfect thermal properties.
