Brennstoff Shisha Cubes
The coal is pressed into cubes with a 26 mm edge, known in the trade simply as "26s". To try it out there is the 8-piece sample pack with 120 g. Because the cubes are pure coconut shell charcoal, a lighter will not ignite them: you put them on an electric coal heater or hold them over a gas burner in a coal basket. After 10 minutes at most they are glowing right through.

Eight cubes are enough for several bowls. That way you can test how the coal works on your bowl and HMD before taking a larger pack.

Can I ignite Brennstoff coal with a lighter?
No. As natural charcoal it needs an electric coal heater or a gas burner.
How do I know the coal is fully lit?
The cubes are grey all round and glow at the edges too. That takes 10 minutes at most.
How many cubes do I need per bowl?
With an HMD usually three, on foil or with a windcover rather three to four; it depends on the bowl and how much heat it needs.
