Penta: compact with a plug-in system
The Penta is around 39 cm tall and has one hose port. The smoke column sits in the glass with a rubber seal, which is known as a plug-in system. The sleeve, the cover around the smoke column, is made of carbon, epoxy resin and sealed wood, so every sleeve looks slightly different. Hookain Onlineshop stocks the versions Red with Cut Grey glass and White with Cut Clear glass.

Set-up and session
The coal tray sits on a ground joint adapter (18/8 to M16 x 1) and can be removed, so you can swap the bowl quickly. A molasses catcher with an 18/8 joint fits in between as an option and keeps syrup from the bowl out of the smoke column. The blow-off, which you use to blow out stale smoke, is hidden under the coal tray. Fill in around 500 ml of water, about 2 cm above the end of the downstem. The stainless steel diffuser, an attachment on the downstem, can be screwed on at either end and makes the bubbling quieter. For cleaning, you take the Penta apart completely.
Evoke Mini and ONE
The Evoke Mini in the Frozen version combines stainless steel with frosted glass and stays below 50 cm in height. The VYRO x NOVITEC ONE is a small stainless steel shisha under 35 cm with a thread system, in which the glass is screwed on, and its own blow-off.
Frequently asked questions about VYRO
How much water goes into the Penta?
Around 500 ml. As the glasses are made by hand, it is best to go by the downstem: about 2 cm above it.
The smoke column is hard to push into the glass. What should I do?
Moisten the rubber seal slightly, then it slides cleanly into the glass.
Can I use a molasses catcher?
Yes. There is an 18/8 joint under the coal tray, where a molasses catcher with the same joint fits.
Are air bubbles in the glass a fault?
No. Small bubbles are normal in handmade glass and do not affect how it works.
