Ocean Hookah
Ocean Hookah is a German brand that develops hookahs and accessories and relies on stainless steel parts. From Ocean you will mainly find trays with a grid here.
About Ocean Hookah
The devices are developed in Germany. The range covers stems, glass bases and accessories for handling the coals.
Tray with a grid
On the Ocean tray the coals rest on a grid instead of a closed surface. Ash falls through, the coals stay clean and get air from below as well. The tray comes in black and in gold.
A place for the coals
The tray sits on the stem below the bowl. You rest glowing coals on the grid until they go onto the bowl.
What is the grid in the tray for?
The coals rest on it, ash drops through and the embers get air.
Which colours does the tray come in?
Black and gold.
Where does the tray go?
Onto the stem, directly below the bowl.
Ocean Tobacco
Under the name Ocean Tobacco the brand sells its own hookah tobacco. The Ocean Strong line is based on Burley, a dark tobacco, and comes in a 200 g pack. The flavours include cola, coconut and lime, tasting sweet, sour or exotic.
Burley in the bowl
Burley is dark and dense. It takes more heat than Virginia and is packed more loosely in the bowl, but with more weight.
Which tobacco is Ocean Strong based on?
On Burley, a dark base tobacco.
Which size does Ocean Strong come in?
In a 200 g pack.
Which bowl suits Ocean Strong?
A bowl with enough capacity for dark tobacco; the Dark Leaf value on the bowl is what counts.
