POPO Low (called Popolow in the item name) combines the shape of the Hookain POPO with the low-load design in a phunnel with a shallow reservoir. Depending on the version, it holds about 9-13 g of Virginia or 14-17 g of dark leaf, the XOXO 8-12 g.

POPO Low for economical phunnel setups
As a phunnel, it has a raised hole in the middle that keeps the molasses in the head. It is made of stoneware clay.
Hookain tip: Pack the POPO Low airy rather than too dense. Do not press the tobacco down, and keep a clean distance to the HMD so the heat can work evenly.
How to use the POPO Low sensibly
An HMD is the obvious choice for this series, because it lets you control the heat cleanly. To start, two or three fully lit coals in the HMD are usually enough; after a few minutes of getting going you will notice whether you need to adjust.
Do not overload the reservoir and keep the centre hole free. Natural charcoal should always be allowed to glow through completely and should not be lit with a lighter.

Who the POPO Low series suits
The series suits you well if you smoke phunnels, dose your tobacco deliberately and prefer to pack with intent rather than simply fill a lot. POPO Low is less suited if your main aim is to get a lot of tobacco into the head.
