The Aladin Alux M4.1 is the tall hookah of the Alux Series by Aladin. At about 62 cm (without bowl) it is clearly larger than the smaller Alux models. The stem is made of aluminium, the base of glass, complemented by stainless steel. The stem is kept in white and silver.

Design and stem
The M4.1 has a light aluminium stem and a large, transparent glass base. The base contains a Closed Chamber System that lets you blow stale smoke out of the glass base. The diffuser on the downstem is adjustable and removable, the valve ball has a diameter of 10 mm.
Four ports with 18/8 ground joint
The M4.1 comes with four hose ports with 18/8 ground joints. The bowl and hose adapters also use this joint. This lets you smoke in a group with several hoses and add a molasses catcher with an 18/8 joint.
Chimney bowl set
The chimney bowl set contains a clay bowl and a Mockingbird attachment. The attachment distributes the heat of the coal evenly. Coal tongs are included.
How to set up the M4.1
- Place the glass base on a level surface and fill in water until the downstem sits about 2 cm deep in the water.
- Put on the stem and click the lock into place.
- Push the hose adapters onto the 18/8 ground joints and connect the hoses.
- Fill the clay bowl, place the Mockingbird attachment on top and put on the coal.
- Start smoking and take your time adjusting the heat.
Care and cleaning
At this height a stem brush is worthwhile. Rinse the stem and the glass base with warm water after the session. Clean a clay bowl only once it has cooled down.
