The Aladin MVP A36 Gastro Clear is a compact hookah by the brand Aladin from the MVP Series. It is around 36 cm high (without bowl), has a silver-grey stem made of V2A stainless steel and a clear, transparent glass base. It is intended for home, gastronomy and outdoors.

Construction and stem
You connect base and stem via a thread system. In the bottom part sits a closed chamber system with which you blow stale smoke out of the base; a blow-off is also fitted. The valve ball has a diameter of 10 mm.
Diffuser and draw
The diffuser on the downstem is adjustable and removable. Set in place it dampens the noise when drawing; removed, it bubbles louder. The draw is light.
Joints and connection
The hose holder sits on an 18/8 joint. The bowl adapter also has 18/8, so a matching molasses catcher can be added. One hose connection is provided from the factory. With a separately available second connection you can extend the hookah to two hoses.
Material and use
The stem is made of V2A stainless steel. Through the clear glass of the base you can see the water level. Thanks to the compact height the hookah also fits on small tables and can be used outdoors.
How to set up the A36 Gastro Clear
- Fill water into the base until the downstem dips in about 2 cm.
- Screw on the stem and tighten it.
- Plug the hose adapter onto the 18/8 joint and connect the hose.
- Put tobacco in the Aladin Optimus Eco, place the Mockingbird attachment on and position the charcoal.
- Start smoking and adjust the heat.
Cleaning
Rinse stem, base and hose with warm water after every session. The clay bowl cools down completely before rinsing.
