The Diamond Hookah The Centenary 6.0 is a complete hookah from the Diamond Hookah brand with a stem made of V2A stainless steel and a crystal glass base. The stem is 23 cm long, and the glass base holds 2.25 litres and measures around 28 x 23 cm. It is also available in the Transparent variant. The metal parts are silver.
Design & stem
The click system connects the base part and glass base tightly and securely. The base part is a Closed Chamber System: you blow stale smoke out of the glass base via the hose. The Centenary 6.0 has no blow-off. Four hose ports with 18/8 ground joint allow smoking with up to four hoses.
Draw & diffuser
The downstem carries a diffuser with ten holes. It reduces the bubbling and makes the draw more pleasant. Four polyamide balls work as valves in the hose ports.
Molasses catcher, coal tray and bowl
The molasses catcher made of borosilicate glass is 14 cm long and 9 cm wide. The glass coal tray made of borosilicate glass measures 26 cm outside and 2 cm inside. Put the chimney attachment on the clay bowl with five holes. Standard HMDs fit.
How to set up the Centenary 6.0
- Fill the glass base with water until the downstem is about 2 cm under water.
- Insert the downstem with diffuser and put on the stem via the click system.
- Fit the ground joint adapter 18/8 and the molasses catcher.
- Fit the ports with sleeves, adapters, end pieces and balls and attach the hose with mouthpiece.
- Put on the chimney attachment and clay bowl, place the coal tray, position the coals and start the session.
Care and cleaning
Rinse the crystal glass with lukewarm water and never shock it with heat. The glass coal tray made of borosilicate glass tolerates heat; the clay bowl only goes into water once it has cooled down. Brush out the stem if needed.
