Hookain · Lit Lip - Pumpkin Splatter - Limited Edition
€13.90*
The Lit Lip Pumpkin Splatter is a limited autumn edition of the Lit Lip from Hookain. The glaze is a strong orange with black splashes, and underneath the bowl is grey. It holds around 11 g of Virginia tobacco or 14 g of dark leaf.
Autumn edition to go with the Pumgun Spy Latte
Hookain designed the look to match the limited tobacco Pumgun Spy Latte: orange and black like a pumpkin. The edition is limited to a small number of pieces.
Lit Lip: Phunnel with standard rim
In the middle sits a raised chimney with a single hole, and the tobacco lies in the reservoir all around it. This way no molasses runs into the smoke column. The lip is roughened, common HMDs and chimney toppers sit firmly on top. You can find all other glazes under Lit Lip.
How to pack the bowl
- Briefly mix the tobacco in the tin so that the molasses is evenly distributed.
- Sprinkle the tobacco loosely into the reservoir around the chimney and do not press it down. The centre hole stays free.
- Fill only to just below the lip so that the HMD does not touch the tobacco.
- Put the HMD on, get it going with two to three pieces of charcoal for a few minutes and regulate the heat via the vent.
Frequently asked questions
How much tobacco fits in the Pumpkin Splatter?
Around 11 g of Virginia or 14 g of dark leaf.
Does it differ from the normal Lit Lip?
Only in the glaze. Shape, reservoir and rim correspond to the Lit Lip.
How do I clean the bowl?
Let the bowl cool down completely and then rinse it out with lukewarm water. Hot ceramic cannot take a cold shock, otherwise the glaze can crack.
