Your first session needs a complete setup whose parts fit together. Check what is included with the hookah before adding anything.
Compare the model, glass base, stem, downstem, valves, seals and connectors with the product description. A hose, mouthpiece and bowl are not included with every offer.
The bowl needs a compatible HMD, chimney attachment or foil explicitly intended for the setup. Dimensions, contact surface and manufacturer instructions determine the combination. Handle glowing charcoal only with suitable tools on a stable, non-combustible surface and never leave it unattended.
Check connectors, dimensions and required adapters. Seals must match the relevant joint. Follow the material and care instructions for cleaning or replacement.
Choose charcoal and other consumables from their labels and the intended setup. Tongs and a heat-resistant rest are essential when charcoal is used; brushes, drying mats, storage and spare seals can simplify maintenance.
