Foil pokers
A poker sets the hole pattern into the stretched aluminium foil. With it you determine the number and distribution of the openings. This category includes single pokers and combination tools for head packing.

Guiding the tip correctly
Stretch the foil first, before you pierce it. A firm grip and a straight tip make an even pattern easier. The perforation must suit the head and the way you pack; no tool prescribes a universal hole pattern.
Single tool or fork-and-poker
With a combo, you use the same tool for filling and perforating. A poker with its own handle feels different in the hand. If you only pack with an HMD and without foil, perforating is not needed.
Store the tip so that you do not injure yourself when reaching for the accessories. After use, clean residue off the tool according to the handle material.
