Red clay refers to the material a bowl was fired from, not to its outer colour. Clays that contain iron usually fire reddish; whether the bowl ends up brown, beige or brightly coloured is decided by the glaze.
What the selection shows
- Shapes: multi-hole bowls and phunnels are included, along with classic bowls.
- Second material entry: earthenware is often listed as well.
- Colour values: brown occurs most often, with beige next.
Bowls from Cosmo Bowl are among those listed. Care and heat behaviour are set by the maker, and the details are on the product page. If you want a particular colour, the colour filter is the better tool.
Because the selection is manageable, the models are easy to view side by side. Compare rim shape, hole pattern and bowl height in particular, since they determine which attachment will fit later.
