The Coal Catcher is a curved shield made of black metal. Two wire hooks rest it against the bowl and a thumb screw clamps it in place. If a piece of coal slips off the HMD or embers crumble away, they land in the shield instead of on the tray, the table or the rug.
Clamp it on and go
You tighten the thumb screw by hand, no tools needed. To empty it, only take the shield off once it has cooled down.
It is handy wherever the hookah is not standing on a solid table, such as on a balcony or in a group where the device often gets knocked.
