ACHO BRA Dotty Garlic Grater Ceramic

The Garlic Grater ACHO BRA Dotty is a high-quality, handcrafted garlic grater made of ceramic, produced in a small family workshop in Spain. Each grater is shaped, glazed, and painted by hand, making each piece a true unique item. The Colorway Dotty combines vibrant pastel purple with fresh green, adding style and functionality to your kitchen. With this sustainable and durable GARLiC PLATE, you not only protect the environment but also get a product based on the highest quality. The local production in Spain helps to keep the CO2 footprint low – a clear advantage for environmentally conscious connoisseurs.

How to properly use the Garlic Grater ACHO BRA Dotty

The application of the GARLiC PLATE ACHO BRA Dotty is simple: peel a garlic clove, place it on the ridged surface, and grate it with gentle pressure. This motion releases all the essential oils – allowing the garlic to unleash its full, intense aroma. With this ceramic garlic grater, you achieve a uniform, creamy garlic paste that is perfect for seasoning dressings, marinades, or Mediterranean dishes. The porous surface ensures that no unpleasant aftertaste is left, and cleaning afterward is particularly easy. Here, functionality, sustainability, and design are equally important.

Handcrafted quality from Spain – sustainable production with character

Each Garlic Grater Dotty is created with meticulous craftsmanship. The clay is manually shaped, then fired at high temperatures, and finally painted and glazed. This technique ensures exceptional durability and a pleasantly textured surface. The family workshop places great emphasis on fair working conditions and ecological materials. By making a purchase, you not only support sustainable production but also traditional craftsmanship from Europe. The CO2 footprint remains minimal as transportation routes are short, and resources are used sparingly. As a result, you receive a long-lasting kitchen aid that combines style and environmental awareness.

Why the GARLiC PLATE Dotty is a must-have in every kitchen

The Garlic Grater ACHO BRA Dotty is not only practical but also decorative. With its vibrant color combination of purple and green, it is a real eye-catcher. Its smooth, glazed back protects kitchen surfaces, while the active grating surface is optimally shaped to process garlic quickly, cleanly, and effortlessly. The handcrafted quality ensures longevity and allows you to enjoy intense garlic flavor without any metallic taste or residue. This tool is the environmentally friendly alternative to conventional metal graters because ceramic is recyclable, robust, and completely taste-neutral. You get the best of functionality, sustainability, and design – a product that should not be missing in any kitchen.

Brüstuck Steingut

Brüstuck Steingut is the ceramics line of Hookain GmbH from Cologne: handmade cups, bowls, plates and garlic graters from a family workshop in Spain. At Hookain Onlineshop you will find several shapes and glazes.

Handmade in Spain

Every piece is shaped, glazed and fired by hand. The clay body contains two kinds of grog, that is clay that has already been fired and ground. Firing at a high temperature makes the stoneware sturdier than plain clay and less translucent than porcelain. The glaze, the glass-like coating on the clay, is satin matt and reactive. It flows differently in the kiln depending on temperature, firing time and position. That is why every piece is one of a kind with its own shading.

For coffee and tea there is the ceramic cup Taza with motifs such as Blaze Mir Einen or Fog Your Life, and the cup Milky Twist in Mixed Clay, whose shape and colour gradient vary from piece to piece. The Breakfast Bowl Morning Glory in Egg Shell or Shark Skin is microwave-safe and ovenproof up to 220 °C. Then there are the Plate and Snack Plate in Washed Vintage Blue from the edition „Das Perfekte Dinner“, thrown on the potter’s wheel and glazed in brown and blue-grey. The Smile High ashtray is also part of the line.

Acho Bra garlic grater

The Acho Bra is a small ceramic plate with a rough grating surface. Peel the garlic clove and rub it in circles over the surface with a little pressure until a fine paste forms. Add it straight to the dressing or marinade. The colours have names such as Lagoon, Espresso, Toxic or Lava.

Can Brüstuck Steingut go in the dishwasher?

The Breakfast Bowl Morning Glory is dishwasher-safe, and the plates in Washed Vintage Blue have a dishwasher-safe glaze. For cups and garlic graters, the information is given on each item.
